I was working as a Bid Writer/ Manager for Mitie Technical Facilities Management (hard services). My role encompassed the completion of bid documentation throughout the bid cycle; from PQQ/ RFI to RFP/ ITT - through to presentation.Utilising my skills in MS Word/ Powerpoint and Adobe InDesign, I drew on both my current and previous experiences to write and design bespoke tender responses; identifying and exceeding client expectations to win and retain key business.

During a two year period, I completed a future leader graduate scheme within National Sales, with focus primarily in soft services.The two year scheme compromised of the following sectors:• Bid Management: Completed PQQ's, compiling and writing tenders for soft services to a high professional quality using Adobe InDesign for both written and presentation stages. Project coordinating, including allocating, delegating and leading kick off meetings, final sign offs etc.• Business Development: Led the bid process, built and developed relationships with key stakeholders (including writing methodologies, identifying win themes and utilising latest innovations and technologies ) - winning and retaining key business primarily within retail and property with emphasis on cleaning and associated services.• Operational: Ensured the smooth transition and best practice of the mobilisation and transition of a key contract based at the new T2 and existing T4 at London Heathrow, ensuring a "Business as Usual"​ approach.• Commercial: Successfully worked with a national based team, managing and implementing a key project for one of ISS's key clients. Achieved significant product cost savings, through the analysis of like-for-like products for our RBS account, whilst helping rationalise product ranges against consumer usage data. Self-familiarised myself the costing models within the ISS Food & Hospitality business and translating this into commercial pricing.
