Within 18 months of being hired, I moved into a lead worker role where I was supervising the field inspectors and over time my role has changed into more of a business analyst role where I solely work on process improvements, measurement of metrics, software needs analysis, and coordination with 3rd party implementation partners as well as serving as an SME for regulatory matters within our program. Additionally, I tackle projects such as the planning and execution of our quarterly meetings, record cleansing projects in preparation for data migration to a new system.

Brought on to join a team of field inspectors charged with monitoring the compliance of commercial signs to federal and state regulations. After joining the team, my supervisor quickly diverted me into the administrative staff of the program, where I handled the processing of application denials, and the resulting appeals to the Deputy Executive Director of TxDOT.

Hired to join a team of auto insurance claims adjusters. The focus of the role was to interview claimants, assess their needs, verify coverages, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, I was required to monitor for fraud indicators and refer suspected fraudulent claims to the fraud investigations team.

Hired to work as a premises technician, installing cable, phone, and internet services in customer’s homes and businesses. The work was technical in nature, requiring a thorough understanding of cable and phone circuits as well as testing methods to ensure service quality.

Hired to work as a field engineer, serving as the frontline provider of services at the wellsite, delivering tailored directional drilling and measurement while drilling services to complete the clients project objectives on time. I eventually became a coordinator in Mexico, coordinating field engineers, assigning them to projects according to their expertise, training, and experience.
