Josh Gutter is a corporate attorney who cares deeply about education, mentorship, and lifelong learning. He is also a certified public accountant.Most recently, Josh worked in Holland & Knight's Fort Lauderdale office representing public and private companies, including private equity funds. Josh’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, healthcare transactions and regulatory research, representing underwriters issuing representation and warranty insurance policies, and general corporate and commercial matters (including joint ventures). He also supported and led numerous business development initiatives. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Josh worked at a national law firm and gained experience with respect to business transactions, representing underwriters in post-M&A claims disputes in connection with representations and warranties insurance policies, and matters related to law and accounting. In addition, Josh is also an alumnus of City Year (AmeriCorps), where he served as a mentor and tutor at Miami Jackson Senior High and received City Year’s annual award for embodying “Ubuntu”, a South African proverb that values community, human dignity, and respect and compassion towards others. Outside of work, Josh enjoys exercising, watching comedies, listening to audiobooks & podcasts, visiting state & national parks, and spending time with friends & family.
