By far, however, the majority of my career has involved entrepreneurship in some fashion. In all that I do, I have a guiding principle that seeks to "ADD" value - an acronym I created which stands for Anticipate needs, Destroy barriers, and Deliver results.Want to change your circumstances? Try asking the question: "How might I ADD even more value?" I promise, your boss, your employees, and/or your customers will respond, and you might just be surprised at the results!I prefer foresight to hindsight. Leaders have an opportunity to design their pathway to success. What I most enjoy is simplifying that pathway so it can be understood and executed.What brings the greatest fulfillment to my life is my family. My wife and I are blessed with five children. I love enthusiastic welcomes when I return home and bedtime prayers. We are also blessed to live with and serve my grandfather, mom & dad, and my sister who fights through many physical challenges. You might say it is "Thanksgiving" every day at the Hesse house. And you would be right! It is not for everyone, but it works for our family.
