About Joshua Hoshauer
As an all-source intelligence analyst for the last 20 years, I had the opportunity to thrive in fast-paced environments to ensure objectives were met through critical thinking, teamwork, policy adherence, sound analysis, and precise communication. I am set to transition from the United States Air Force in March 2025. I supported, led, and managed teams of 4 to over 600 personnel with various specialties and diverse backgrounds in intelligence and force protection in the Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Africa. I utilized multidisciplinary intelligence collection methods to include publicly available information to collect, synthesize, and succinctly present products for senior leaders, numerous Department of Defense organizations, agencies, and local law enforcement. Additionally, my background in training is extensive. I have an associate degree in the instruction of military sciences and served as a military instructor and course director for two Air Force-level intelligence force protection courses. I also earned my bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies with a concentration in analysis, graduating summa cum laude. The Air Force allowed me to experience and excel in managing numerous intelligence programs. These programs include protecting U.S. citizens’ privacy, managing licenses and training for publicly available information gathering, securing facilities and operations, and managing intelligence tasks for the largest combat Air Force in order to employ intelligence capabilities in contested environments around the world. My passions are empowering and mentoring personnel, synthesizing and analyzing information, public speaking, veteran outreach, and striving to improve processes to create time and space for personal and professional growth. I am excited to join a new team, explore new possibilities, gain new perspectives and skills, and utilize my experiences to propel organizations and team members forward.Currently, I am participating in the Department of Defense's SkillBridge program as an intern at 7 Eagle Group. As a recruiting manager, I assist transitioning service members and veterans in résumé writing, maximizing their LinkedIn profile, and discovering their passions to see them succeed in a rewarding career outside the military. In addition to helping our veterans, I am able to grow my own understanding of processes and experiences outside of the service.
