What's the objective? How can we simplify this concept? I'm no longer in the classroom, but I still view my work through the lens of an educator Since I taught first grade, I've been lucky enough to be part of some really good teams. At Aceable, I first created content for our driver's ed app, where I helped form the voice of Ace, the robot that teaches Aceable students. I later managed a team of very talented writers who built industry-leading courses that helped students get their driver's and real estate licenses.In 2021, I joined First Dollar, a fintech that builds infrastructure for health spending benefits. As the first content hire, I built our content program, developed our messaging and style guide, revamped our Help Center for white-labeling, and more. We built industry expertise through ungated resource guides and encouraged benefit utilization with educational content. This work was only possible via collaboration with really smart colleagues in product, design, and engineering. I enjoy building cool stuff with kind people.
