Led the LifeCycle Controller development effort for the 12th generation of Dell servers with proficiency. LifeCycle Controller is Dell’s infrastructure that allows managing server life cycle locally and remotely. The solution is used for configuring various server subsystems such as firmware, network, storage and fiber channel devices. Architecture includes UEFI for the local management and embedded Linux for the remote access.  Led a team of 30+ development engineers. Ensured optimal efficiency and cost control. Co-ordinated the development of multi-location teams; drove teams through all aspects of each project phase, including: requirement, design, implementation and validation using Agile development methodologies.

Oversaw architecting and delivery of the UEFI strategy that enabled greater efficiency for the server BIOS team and greater leverage from Dell’s Vendors, IHVs, IBV’s and ODM partners.  Led UEFI strategy and development for 11th generation Dell PowerEdge servers.  Led the BIOS development of Dell’s 1955 blade server.  Delivered BIOS support for IPMI for Dell’s 8th and 9th generation of servers.

Managed a team of developers through design, development and testing phases of AMI’s CORE8 legacy BIOS architecture and the user interface for the AMI VeB. Product feature set included a complete redesign of AMIBIOS Core, making it extremely modular and customizable for the various platforms. Developed various core components and ACPI tools for AMIBIOS using Assembly, C, and C++.
