As a SSP Lead, I am responsible for driving Evergreening program across Distributed Compute area which largely includes OS, Hardware, Platforms & Tooling. This includes end to end governance & driving various projects amounting to multi million dollars.- ESX, Windows & Linux platforms.- Hardware likes of IBM M4, HP Gen8s & Gen9s. - Tooling vROPs, vRLI, SCOM, Symantec DCS.As a Transformation Lead, I am responsible for governing & driving Transformation program across Distributed Compute area which includes planning, budgeting, vendor management of multiple projects. The Program is delivered by internal teams as well as vendor partners through SoWs. The program is high value benefits to end user from speed & scale of delivery and cost efficiency. Projects costing in multi million dollars & largely includes automation of many work streams & enabling self-service mechanism to end users.- Self Service Initiatives – OS Patching, OS Demise, Firmware Upgrades etc.- Automation of ESX pathing, Snapshot as Service.- Automated health checks – OS, ESX- In place upgrade - Windows.

I was functionally responsible for driving VMWare Evergreening program amounting 8000+ ESX servers across 52 countries. This is a complex infrastructure upgrade on hypervisor level. Overall Lead this multi country project - - Planning & managing up keeping of ESX /Virtual Infrastructure (S/W VMWare ESX & various H/W makes).- Planning, budgeting & submitting spend for hardware replacement across globe.- Manage internal & external stakeholders. - Relationship management & buy-in to the project plan, commitments, changes & challenges.- Provide management overview of product lifecycle including value benefits of program.- Manage team – Involves people & performance management and their professional growth /development.- Take accountability for project - identify & drive opportunities for delivery improvements.

This also includes in depth capacity planning, globalising & standardising VMWare estate.- Played a key role in establishing Demand /Supply management framework & Extensive Vendor Management.- Major Contribution in 2010 in largest datacenter migration programme in HSBC.- Lead & completed many P2V – Physical to Virtual Migrations for bank's virtualisation first approach.
