Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC)Linux Kernel Team:• Implemented features in the Linux Kernel/Android to support new and existing Qualcomm chips. Took up multiple roles working on clock drivers, PIL drivers, driving critical debugs for chip launches and QDSS drivers.• De-facto lead for the 3 person Linux Kernel Clocks team in San Diego, during the Snapdragon 810 and 808 timeframe. Involved in resource planning and allocation for various chip projects during that timeframe. Responsible for planning and execution of all things related to Linux Kernel clocks. Also provided technical guidance to team in Hyderabad.• Design, pre-silicon development, hardware bring-up, post silicon feature development and commercialization support for the CPU, peripheral, multimedia clocks and the ADSP, Modem and Video Peripheral Image Loader (PIL) driver for Snapdragon 808. Post silicon feature development and commercialization support for the CPU, peripheral, multimedia clocks and the ADSP, Modem and Video Peripheral Image Loader (PIL) driver for Snapdragon 810. Clocks and PIL support for all other premium and mid-tier Snapdragon chips.• System level debug of system stability issues impacting chip launches for technical areas in kernel with no dedicated tech teams within Qualcomm and/or issues with no concrete identifiable technical areas. Also debug of system issues due to hardware inconsistency and limitations. Handled multiple debugs for timely and aggressive commercialization of Snapdragon 805, 801, 400 and 200 with multiple customers across the world and collaboration with multi-country teams.• Design, pre-silicon development, hardware bring-up, post silicon feature development and commercialization support for the ARM Coresight IP driver implementation for Snapdragon 400 and Snapdragon 200. Addition of the Coresight ETM v3.5 support in the ETM driver for the same introducing some advanced functionalities. All part of the Qualcomm Debug SubSystem (QDSS).
