The organization is growing rapidly organically as well as inorganically. As in charge of the complete IT infrastructure for these group of companies with a three digit IT budget, some of the notable achievements were : • Championed use of IT to drive business alignment and process simplification. SAP implementation enabled transformation of the organization from regional operations to a single entity. Completed the SAP ECC 6.0 with IS Real Estate project as a Project Manager, well within budgets and on schedule the real estate vertical. Completed version upgrade implementations for SAP for the Chemical Manufacturing and the Retail businesses. • Group wide consolidation of IT infrastructure was undertaken saving 40% on networking, 50% on Datacenter infrastructure apart from obtaining high level of manageability and vendor visibility. • Implemented IT Outsourcing of the IT infrastructure for the entire group of 5 companies, saving on the then costing considerably. • Led virtualization effort that reduced costs 46% and improved uptime from 89% to 95%. • Implemented group wide HRMS system for all employees.• Consolidation of IT procurement was undertaken resulting in considerable savings.
