Led the mobile products team for Hightail (YouSendIt) after their acquisition of my company Zosh. Integrated existing apps and services into new mobile products on iOS and Android. Worked with cross functional teams to model user engagement, reduce churn and used those strategies successfully to game the various app stores. Represented Hightail at various speaking engagements around the bay area including Mobile Monday.

Founded the company, recruited a stellar co-founder, designed the product, launched at DEMO in Spring 2010 and won a DEMOgod award for my pitch. Submitted my first patent (co-author) and managed all aspects of the acquisition by YouSendIt.

Created scalable bulletin board software used by Microsoft on many of its gaming properties. Bungie the game studio behind the billion dollar game series Halo invested in us in 2002 to create a next generation version that would be the centerpiece of their community. We delivered on time, within budget and in 2004 with over 90 million messages left by their fans Bungie launched Halo 2. Other clients included CNN, The Weather Channel, Road & Track, Car & Driver, and many government agencies including the FBI and the Department of Defense.

Before Napster there was Deadabase a website site that attracted fans of the Grateful Dead to download live recordings of their shows as mp3's. It received national press and over 30,000 downloads in its first month. I started this site from my dorm room at the University of Texas at Austin after learning about MP3's which had become popular the year before.

I wrote hardware level test software for mobile chipsets on notebooks. I won 2 awards for detecting two separate chipset flaws. Those flaws were corrected before the company went into mass production thus saving significant costs and giving us a competitive advantage.
