As a member of the User Experience team at Dell, I served as a UI Designer and UX Engineer. Within this role, I designed UX workflows and prototypes for web and mobile applications, implemented them using HTML/CSS/JS, conducted user testing, and collaborated with cross-functional teams, including UX, engineering, product, and project managers. My contributions were recognized through multiple awards within the company.

As the Lead Designer and UI Engineer at Individual Digital, Inc., a start-up company, I was responsible for overseeing user interface design and development. Working closely with business development and engineering, I delivered product design, essential workflows, branding, wireframes, and interface design, prioritizing user experience. Additionally, I played a crucial role in building and nurturing the design team, fostering collaboration and achieving successful outcomes

At Kinetic Marketing Group, a Montana based advertising agency, I worked collaboratively with the team to develop web and multi-media strategies for a diverse range of clients, from concept to completion. My contributions extended beyond development to include branding initiatives for multiple companies. I played a key role in developing conceptual designs and implementing front-end and back-end applications for websites. Additionally, I engaged in pre and post-production video development and utilized my photography skills.

As one of the original co-founders of Dealerspan, a multi-million dollar start-up, I served as the Design Group Manager and Creative Director. In this multifaceted role, I facilitated effective communication between business, engineering, and QA teams, managing a group of designers responsible for product design and user interface development. Additionally, I led video production efforts and later took on the role of Development Director, overseeing engineering, design, video production, and quality assurance.

During my tenure as the Online Manager at Lee Enterprises, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the online department, including sales, development, customer relations, content, and staff management. By implementing strategic initiatives, I successfully increased online sales by approximately 170% within a two-year period. Furthermore, I was actively involved in technical aspects, such as building the helenair.com website and client websites, as well as managing customer advertising metrics to optimize online ad performance.
