As a Trustee, my responsibilities include helping oversee the strategy, vision and ethos of the trust, guide the trust towards better outcomes for pupils and the community as a whole, and ensure proper oversight and leadership is in place for the effective and smooth running of the Trust as a legal entity / organisation.My specific focus at the Newbury Academy Trust lies in the domains of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Neurodiversity and Inclusion, and effective use of Technology both from a Data Management and Productivity standpoint.

As Chief Commercial Officer, I'm responsible for developing product and offering strategy for the organisation, helping position our unique cloud and managed IT services offerings to a rapidly changing and evolving marketplace.

It's my responsibility to design, develop and release the platforms we use to empower your employees. Managing teams from London to India, I lead the technical strategy and development of our "Tailored Social Solutions" - simple enterprise social networks that come pre-tailored to your industry or sector.

I'm one of the founding Directors at Brilliant Minds - a Community Interest Company which aims to create fair, well-paid, meaningful work opportunities for Neurodiverse people around the world. My role is to listen to the Neurodiverse community and identify how modern technology can help remove the inequities and unfairness that they experience when looking for work.

As the Internal Online Manager, I was responsible for the entire suite of internal online platforms, including our Intranet, Collaboration services, rich media services, and other supporting technologies. I defined the global strategy and direction for the online products and services we offered our employees, and oversaw implementation through to project closure.

As part of the Group Internal Communications / Directorate team, I am responsible for designing and managing the roll-out of new, innovative solutions in our Intranet and New Media space. This includes growing adoption and capability for "Vodafone Circle", our internal Best Practice and Social Networking platform, and "Vodafone Workspace", our upcoming global collaboration environment.On a day to day basis, this means everything from high level ideation and strategic planning, down to getting my hands dirty with SharePoint 2010, Adobe Flash, Dreamweaver, Apple Motion, etc.

Within the Internal Online / Global Applications team, I am one of the core project members for the Intranet Simplification Programme. This involves rolling out a global collaboration platform connecting 80,000 employees worldwide, and simplifying our intranet landscape. Alongside this, I work as a Business Analyst, and own the Internal Communciations domain - capturing opportunities and leads for Technology projects to support the best practice sharing and communications strategies for our Chief of Staff and the Internal Communications organisation.

As part of the Graduate Development Programme, I designed and deployed a full reporting system for the Group Chief Technology Officer. During this time, I was responsible for liaising with senior leaders, executives and directors to gather the key information and metrics used to monitor and manage the Technology organisation worldwide.

As part of the Graduate development programme, I was responsible for running a detailed analysis and research project on the feasibility of using 60GHz Microwave Mesh Backhaul technologies for connecting Vodafone's "Micro base stations" back to the core telephony network. This involved managing huge sets of information, and generating detailed simulation models. Alongside this, I presented findings back to senior members of the Research & Development and Technology teams, and provided guidance which directly affected Vodafone's strategy on future backhaul techniques.

I spent a few years contracting for Vodafone Group Services, working in a number of different departments and functional areas including:- AD&M Process Management, where I was responsible for designing and owning the process models used for a worldwide outsourcing deal with IBM and EDS.- Group Information Services Operational Governance, where I was responsible for developing metric dashboards for our global operational KPIs- Group IS Human Resources, where I was responsible for improving the processes and policies around monitoring and managing headcount and Spans and Layers within the business, concentrating on automating the process of organisational design.

I was one of the founding members of PoorStudent.com, and was responsible for contributing to the code and mechanics of the site, providing site imagery and marketing designs, and guiding the business strategy and online experience.
