Highlights of the major projects I've worked on are below. I'm a composer and producer of music for film, dance, theatre and the concert stage.

I teach beginners up to professionals. I help people to achieve their own personal goals through guided piano tuition. My pupils can aim for ABRSM performance graded exams, theory, or just learn for personal enjoyment. With my teaching, the pupil comes first - what style or interest they have shapes the repertoire we choose to learn.I can easily adapt to different learning styles, whether that be ensemble playing, playing music in bands, jazz or solo classical performance.I emphasise a holistic learning practice which encompasses practical performance as well as theory, listening and aural training. Through these methods my pupils will not just gain the skills to play the piano, but also a solid understanding of the music they're performing and listening to.Music is a lifelong skill that benefits people of all ages. It can help with confidence as well as having a tangible positive effect on performance in other subject areas. Musicians have a natural advantage!I take pride in seeing my pupils succeed, and all my pupils pass their exams, many achieving merits and distinctions.I graduated from the University of Manchester with a PhD in Music, and have been an active player and composer for over ten years. Most recently I have been teaching for four years at the United Nations International School in Hanoi, where I taught one-on-one piano lessons.

This can be done in a professional studio, on location or in a home studio.Personally, I prefer recording 'live' with minimal overdubs, in order to create a more natural-sounding recording that reflects the personality of the band.
