Growing up watching my father’s success in sales I always knew I would walk in his shoes. Besides watching my father work his magic, my first true introduction to the sales process came when I received my driver’s license. Like most sixteen year old, I had dreams of owning the coolest car, or in my case the coolest truck. It was then I learned that if I wanted to land a good deal, I had to take the emotion out of the process. I researched my desired truck, learned the market, negotiated, and bought my first Ford F-250 below market. After I invested a few bucks and some elbow grease I sold it for a profit. This went on throughout high school, each time upgrading with a larger budget from my profit. These skills provided the foundation for my sales abilities today. Only today, what makes me tick is software and technology. Most recently I lead the efforts to grow the Northeast for Medpricer’s SaaS Supply Chain software. I used my business acumen and analytical side to leverage what resources they had and modified and created additional sales tools to close over seven figures in the first 10 months. Prior to Medpricer, I spent seven years at Quotient technologies working my way up from an individual contributor to starting a team in Cincinnati from scratch and generating over $30M in revenue per year. At Quotient I was the only one to consecutively exceed quota by over 30% growth YoY for six consecutive years and received a “Getting A Head” award for going above and beyond. Throughout my career, I have extensively researched to learn new industries just like I had to do when I bought my first truck.When I’m not selling I love the satisfaction of a completed home project, yardwork (yes I love a good sweat and the satisfaction of seeing the results of my yard work!), building something for the house, finishing a hike or a good workout, a successful BBQ ( I own 3 different “Q’s!”), hanging with my girls, walking with my dog, biking, and just enjoying a sunny day.
