Lead an experienced team of third party risk professionals responsible for conducting risk assessments of prospective third parties (i.e., “vendors”, “suppliers”, “partners”, etc.) across all risk domains. Drive change proactively to mature the program and reactively in response to business needs and current events. Partner with leaders in Procurement, Legal, and individual business units to right-size recommendations, make informed decisions, and ultimately protect T-Mobile.

Support the quarterly Enterprise Risk Assessment process, including interviewing executives; researching and analyzing risks to T-Mobile and to the broader telecommunications industry; and working with business leaders to develop, update, and validate report content (including risk descriptions, action steps, and mitigation statuses). Lead risk assessments to support business growth and increase process and systems maturity. Facilitate back office attestation process in support of B2B and government sales. Serve as a risk adviser for the Procurement & Supply Chain organization and escalate issues and opportunities as needed. Work cross-functionally to review and update T-Mobile’s Forward-Looking Statements and Risk Factors for our annual 10-K filing with the SEC.

Led the development of a framework for identifying emerging risks; managed this process on a quarterly basis. Managed delivery of back office (security, risk, compliance) attestations to active and prospective business customers. Conducted risk assessments (typically two per quarter) on business processes and other issues at senior leadership’s direction. Served as a risk adviser for the Procurement & Supply Chain organization and escalate issues and opportunities as needed. Led operational risk monitoring and compliance activities (Data Loss Prevention, PCI, etc.), including program improvements. Worked cross-functionally to review and update T-Mobile’s Forward-Looking Statements and Risk Factors for our 10-K filing with the SEC.

Conducted risk assessments on current and prospective third parties' compliance with T-Mobile's policy requirements. Led interviews and wrote reports for various risk assessments. Supported operational risk monitoring and compliance activities, most notably monitoring and following up on policy violation incidents from T-Mobile's Data Loss Prevention tool and assisting with T-Mobile's annual PCI audit. Developed and implemented the team's risk assessment intake process. Assisted with enterprise and functional group policy drafting and updating.

Conducted targeted research on two general topics: the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and Cyber Risk. Analyzed the collected material and produced concise written products and verbal briefs. Developed and delivered a framework for understanding the Islamic State's resource requirements for carrying out terrorist attacks. Participated in conference calls and meetings with experts on various foreign policy-related issues and assisted with "one-off" research requests from leadership.

Supported the staff of the Joint Logistics Operation Center (JLOC) by undertaking projects, editing plans, assisting with responding to FOIA requests, and reorganizing and streamlining the JLOC SharePoint website. Received Secret clearance so as to handle classified documents and other materials. Benefited from a number of specialized courses: LAN User Course, Cyber Awareness and Information Assurance Courses, SharePoint End-User Training, and others.
