Enterprise Sr. Systems Engineer, Emerging Technologies Division• Provide technical expertise in pre-sales activities for Isilon Scale-Out NAS and ECS Object Storage.• Understand and communicate knowledge of various protocols and client/application interaction, including NFS, CIFS/SMB, HTTP, FTP, NDMP, Swift and native HDFS for Hadoop.• Develop technical solutions to customer business issues, including collection and analysis of technical requirements, design of storage solution, all the way through to implementation.• Architect and implement complex Proof of Concepts (POCs) with a focus on product and solution differentiators, including performance and feature functionality.• Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations of products and architecture to all levels of a customer audience.

NetApp Pre-Sales / Systems Engineer, Arrow ECS/eSVN Group (Contractor)• Act as trusted advisor to the partner community regarding the NetApp value proposition in a highly competitive market.• Provide pre-sales services for building and selling NetApp products and solutions to our partners and customers. Work with partner sales and technical resources to assess customer storage and datacenter requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements.• Provide in-depth technical training and enablement of NetApp’s partner Sales Reps, Systems Engineers and Architects to meet partner requirements. Provide subject matter expertise to support the sale of NetApp products, solutions and services in the pre- sales engagement cycles.

Sr. Storage Engineer• Serve as a Technical Architect of EA’s data storage environments, supporting global game development studios and enterprise shared services.• Provide technology architecture support for various EA projects including SAN, NAS, WAN Acceleration, Backup, Archive, DR, and Cloud Storage.• Deliver advanced technology solutions focused around the entire life cycle of data in a high growth, highly technical environment.• Participate in vendor evaluation, RFI/RFP support. Lab testing of new technologies, and decision support.• Provide functional and technical expertise with managing, implementing, and designing Data & Storage environments.
