Well Design Studio is a community-minded design and communications agency that partners with non-profits and businesses to conceive and implement branding and communications solutions that speak to their constituents and customers. The Vital Streets Oversight Commission will work with the City Manager and City Commission to recommend how the revenue from the continued income tax, generating $10 million annually, for Streets and Sidewalks is to be invested. The oversight Commission will report actual expenditures and results to the City Commission and the public each year.

Work with board members and community members to help facilitate high level change in the neighborhood. Chair the Complete Streets Committee to help find ways to make East Hills a more livable community for all of its residents and guests.Current board work includes: Development of the East Hills Public Space Strategy, working with the City of Grand Rapids and Friends of Grand Rapids Parks to create plans for Cherry Park, working with neighbors and developers on creating good development in East Hills, execution of the East Hills Loves Congress initiative to make East Hills a more family friendly community by developing a positive relationship with our neighborhood school.

The AIGA West Michigan Sustainability Director is a volunteer position that is responsible for leading the chapter and its members toward increased awareness of environmental sustainability with the considerations of design, paper and printing. The Director is responsible for making AIGA West Michigan events and programs more sustainable and work with the board to ensure these considerations.

Develop, along side department directors, a communications strategy for the 45 year old environmental action organization. Design print and web materials for WMEAC and WMEAC branded events. Create and implement current and develop and implement new organizational brand standards. Manage PR and social media for WMEAC. Develop, train and mentor a team of paid interns who assist in design, communications and journalism.Recent projects include full organizational rebrand including new print and online marketing material, new website, and new organizational brand standards. This rebrand included the development of program and event specific brand standards as well for programs like the IDEAL initiative, Teach for the Watershed, Green Drinks and the Women and the Environment Symposium.

The Sustainable Streets Task Force was created by the Grand Rapids City Commission in February 2012. A diverse group of 30 citizens was appointed to the Task Force, representing various stakeholder groups.The Task Force has been charged to:- Work with the community to review and update the work of the 21st Century Infrastructure Task force from a decade earlier;- Create a future vision of what we want the role of streets to be;- Create a vision of what condition we want our street system in;- Develop options for establishing an asset management program;- Review current investment sources and develop recommendations for alternativesources that will help us meet our gap in funding- Suggest plans for how to achieve a sustainable street system
