About Josh Harrison

Josh Harrison is a Camera Design and Cinematography for Video Games at Respawn Entertainment. He possess expertise in video games, game development, ps3, maya, cinematics and 11 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "What can I say about Josh? I brought him onto my team during a time when we needed a designer who could handle the toughest, most complicated system we had. Josh not only handled it, but improved it, all while setting a stellar example for the rest of the team. His work ethic is unparalleled and his passion for his craft is truly inspirational. Josh demands quality out of both himself and others. It was a pleasure to manage Josh. He went out of his way to make my life easier - volunteering to go the extra mile in almost everything he did, even when I didn't ask for it. Do not do yourself a disservice in thinking that Josh is strictly a camera designer. Josh is a well rounded, talented 'everything' designer. He is capable of anything you throw at him and I truly believe he can do whatever he sets his mind to. I didn't know Josh when I hired him, but over his tenure on my team I grew to know him both as a friend as well as a colleague. Any design team would be made better by adding him." and "Josh Harrison is a great teammate and camera designer. I collaborated closely with Josh on many level camera needs, like setting up the appropriate cameras for traversal sections that needed to not only guide the player where they needed to go, but also show off awesome vistas. Josh was also a great problem solver. Often we’d be stuck with impossible to change level geometry that fought with the player camera for reveals of gameplay spaces. Josh would always create a custom camera that avoided the geometry snags and still showed off the gameplay space. Sometimes I think Josh is an alien from another planet that was sent down to earth to make other camera designers look bad, but it’s possible he’s a normal human being that’s just really good at his job."

Listed skills include Video Games, Game Development, Ps3, Maya, and 12 others.
