We Do Your IT is an IT Support company supporting small and medium sized business in and around the Bristol area. They made technology their problem so that you can get on with what you do best!In my role as Team Leader I successfully manage a team of five IT Consultants, all with varying degrees of experience and skill from new starters through to those who have been with the company for a number of years. I manage tasks required by our customers and ensure that they are delegated to the appropriate team member as well as following up each project to ensure its successful completion. I am also able to manage, meet and often exceed our customers’ expectations in getting jobs completed on time, on budget and with a high level of customer service.As part of my role I am an IT Consultant through which I am able to set a good example to my colleagues and actively manage a number of jobs and projects for our customers as well as internally. My skills include network management, backup and disaster recovery management as well as first and second line technical support, as well as computer installations, repairs and Office 365 Migration management and implementation.

This gives you full control over your purchases and systems whilst allowing you to leave it with us to source so that you can get on with what you do best.My role involves sourcing the best products for my customers and advising on the best solutions for their individual requirements. When sourcing items I like to ensure that I get the best prices possible so that I can offer the best prices to our customers. I always begin by finding out what the customer actually needs each item from, this could be anything from ensuring that the correct toners are ordered for their printer through to ensuring they have the best machine for their budget and that it will offer the capabilities required to get the job done.

We provide communication systems from telephones, mobile phone contracts, Wi-Fi access points for public access, broadband and leased lines. Wrapped in excellent customer service, everything we do is based on taking the burden of technology away from you so that you can get on with what you do best.In my role as Communications consultant I help to advise customers on the various telephony, broadband and public access Wi-Fi options as well as assisting with the installation and maintenance of the systems we have in place. My main specialism is in maintaining and supporting the broadband applications to ensure everything runs smoothly and, should there be any issues, they are resolved swiftly.We support a wide range of systems and industries such as doctors’ surgeries, publishers, building trades, manufacturers, restaurants and the legal profession such as solicitors and barristers amongst many others so we have a wide variety of experience in different areas.I always aim to ensure my customers understand what I am doing and why I am doing it by using jargon free language and explaining how things work whilst acting in the best interests of the customer at all times.

During my time at Bristol Metropolitan Academy I was the Production Manager for the theatre department. My role was to create, develop and manage the stage sets and to programme the complex lighting system for the theatre along with other technical aspects such as the smoke machines and technical sound systems. During live performances and dress rehearsals, I helped to manage my peers who were going on stage by encouraging them and helping to boost their confidence as well as dealing with the technical aspects above. In addition, I organised, managed and produced DVD’s including filming and editing which were available for public purchase.
