During this internship I learned about the residential mortgage process and how to handle certain elements as the loan officer. In doing this internship, I learned how to prequalify loan applicants, analyze debt/income ratios and how it factors in buying a home, make folders for clients to organize their applicant information and other skills in the lending process. Along with learning these skills, I handled communication to clients for the loan officer so he was able to deal with the lending process. I also would communicate to co-workers in the lending process such as the underwriter, realtor and third-party attorneys to find out information we needed to further qualify the applicant.

As the head coach for Fuqua School's Junior Varsity baseball team, I had to manage a variety of tasks. These tasks included having a plan for practice everyday, setting line-ups for games, acting as a role model for the players, communicating with parents and umpires of the games and working with the athletic director to make sure the kids were staying on track in the classroom and on the field.
