Managed writers, designed section and news-side fronts, designed tabloid covers, copy edited, wrote, and interviewed the likes of Wayne Coyne, Danzig, Warren Haynes, Winston Smith and Billy Joe Shaver.In 2005, reported post-Hurricane Katrina from Picayune, Miss., for CNHI affiliate The Picayune Item. Broke story about an elderly blind man held captive in a trailer who managed to free himself after the hurricane. His captors had abandoned him and since have been convicted of various crimes stemming from their abuse of the man. Also reported on FEMA/Red Cross mismanagement.
