I lead a team of twenty-five insurance professionals for our Florida region. My team's focus is personal lines insurance products. Originally, my team was split between five brands and we worked very hard to create one team. I earned the National Manager of the Year award for Shepherd Insurance in 2022. I also earned a regional award from Travelers Insurance in 2022.

Upon moving to Florida, I wanted to explore entrepreneurial options. I started McPools as a weekly swimming pool maintenance service for commercial and residential pools. We became an award winning service earning the "Top Rated" award from HomeAdvisor for Manatee county in 2016, 2017 and 2018. We also won an award from the Florida Swimming Pool Association for best social media efforts. I earned my Florida Contractors license and we focused on selling swimming pool heaters and swimming pool automation. In addition to earning my contractors license, I earned my Certified Pool Operator and Florida Public Pool Specialist certification.I later sold McPools and resumed my career in the insurance industry.

I had a team of eighteen sales professionals that broke new business records and earned many awards. We had earned Cornerstone status with Chubb five years in a row. We also won production or retention awards from Acuity, Auto-Owners, Met-Lite, Safeco, Secura, Travelers, & West Bend Mutual.We won National Agency of the Year with MetLife back in 2012 and won another National Retention award in 2013.Prior to being acquired, the agency's name was Johnson Financial Group which was part of Johnson Bank.

While this role had many tasks, my top priorities were new business sales and conducting pre-licensing courses. New business sales increased 8% in 2006 and 11% in 2007. The students that attended my pre-licensing course averaged a 76% success rate on the exam, while the company average was less than 65%

As a Sales and Service agent, my top priorities were insurance and AAA membership sales. I achieved several awards during my time in this role. I was awarded with several incentive based trips based upon my sales results.

This was an internship with a local insurance brokerage company. My role was to make sales calls to introduce our Life & Annuity product line to independent agents. My top accomplishment during this internship was that I was one of two that made it through the entire program, while the program started with eight interns. This gave me confidence to move into insurance sales.

I was promoted from associate into management a few months after high school. I was then promoted into store manager of a delivery only store a few months later. I was the youngest Pizza Hut Store Manager in Wisconsin back in 1999. My top accomplishment in this role was the growth in catering sales that my store received. My team focused on gaining residual catering deals with local businesses, youth sports leagues and school related events. We had increased our catering sales by more than 25% in 2000.
