In October of 2019, I was promoted to my current Consulting Partner role. The technical consulting element of my day job carried over to this role and I obtained additional responsibility to support the business’s growth strategy. I strive to be the conduit between the customer and our own professional services team. I am regularly involved in the initial engagement stages where I assist in qualifying leads, and capturing commercial, technical, and business requirements. I help prepare detailed statements of work and proposals which explain how the customer’s vision will be realised, and how the solution will be delivered whilst balancing cost and resource effort. Where I am delivering an engagement in a principal capacity, I actively seek out additional new opportunities to grow the client partnership further. The bulk of this role sees me acting as a principal consultant day-to-day. I joined Jtwo in October 2018 as a Senior Consultant. This role is a technical cloud consulting role that is supported by our tool – cloudstep.io. cloudstep is a tool that can plan, transition, and manage public cloud services. Cloudstep models your existing ICT landscape in order to estimate, plan and commission suitable services in the cloud. Jtwo consultants use this tool to prepare strategic plans, and business cases for organisations to support a migration to public cloud. Our professional services arm then engages to deliver the migration program in a collaborative manner with our clients.

In this role, I was responsible for technical design and build activities for internal and external projects as part of the Future Operations team. I was required to collaborate closely with our Architecture practice and relevant SMEs to translate reference architectures and ConOps artefacts into outcomes that meet commercial, technical and businesses requirements. As a Senior IT SME, I was required to apply significant expertise in designing and implementing solutions by leveraging the knowledge and skills available within Raytheon Australia, Raytheon Global and its external partners and suppliers. Collaborating with both internal and external subject matter experts enables me to integrate technical solutions that deliver true value to the business whilst also ensuring they are compliant with relevant security standards, and also consider user experience and cost effectiveness over the sustainment period for said solution. Expanding on my previous role at Kloud, I have demonstrated that I am effective and efficient at developing cost and schedule estimates required by our program management office. I follow this up and ensure that I deliver on the estimates during project execution. I am diligent in preparing and maintaining system and services documentation throughout the operational lifecycle of any given solution, which ensures seamless and efficient transition to our Service Operations team. I regularly provided 3rd level support to our Service Operations team and engaged with both internal and external support networks and service providers to ensure restoration of existing services in the agreed time frames. I actively seek opportunities for improvement and regularly provide input into future strategic plans and roadmaps.My passion for technology, coupled with my exceptional people skills enables me to provide technical leadership and mentoring across our teams where I aim to continually develop a success-oriented, accountable working environment.

Over the last 3 years I have worked as an Infrastructure Consultant based out of the South Australian office, assisting the business nationally. In this short period of time I have worked with large scale public and private sector clients in many different industries. As a consultant with Kloud, I have been involved from the initial planning phases, assisting in developing and delivering strategies to provide organisations with the knowledge which will enable them to adopt public cloud services with confidence. I have a strong technical background which has enabled me to develop a wide range of solutions leveraging cloud based technologies to solve complex business problems. This includes but is not limited to, integrating existing on-premises infrastructure with a hybrid cloud architecture through to building standalone multi-tier (IaaS and PaaS) cloud datacentres on public cloud platforms. These solutions are tailored to suit any number of business requirements which may include: Organisational Compliance and Governance, Network and Security, Identity and Access Management and Collaboration, Communication and Integration. My role at Kloud requires me to interact with broad range of individuals from the executive level right through to technical support staff and end users.

The Adelaide Azure User Group is conducted by Kloud in conjunction with Microsoft Australia. Our goal is to give back to the local IT community and empower them with knowledge on all aspects of Microsoft's Azure public cloud platform.I am responsible for organising and coordinating all aspects of our User Group Events.
