About Joshua Mendoza

I am a Product Designer with experience in wearables (spatial computing + AR/VR/MR), interconnects, and accessories. From my experiences working at Apple, Microsoft, and ChargePoint, I am well-versed in what it takes to bring products from concept to mass production. I have shipped multiple products, including Vision Pro, MagSafe for iPhone, Microsoft HoloLens (a wearable mixed reality computer for corporate and education markets), and ChargePoint's DC and AC chargers for electric vehicles. My skills include:end-to-end ownership of engineering activities from concept to mass production, leading cross-functional teams (industrial design, mechanical, electrical, reliability, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and sourcing), executive communication, failure analysis, and issue tracking (MIL)Outside of work, I run Destined for X, a non-profit that serves underprivileged youth interested in pursuing careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math).I am always open to new opportunities in product design or program/product management, where I can contribute to the development of bleeding-edge technology.
