Josh Meyers is the Executive Chairman of Slickdeals, the leading crowdsourced shopping platform with 10 million unique users per month. Meyers joined Slickdeals as CEO in 2013 concurrent with an investment by Warburg Pincus. Partnering with the founders, Meyers served CEO for 11 years and helped grow Slickdeals to become to be ranked among the 100 most trafficked websites and a top 10 shopping site in the U.S. according to Alexa. In 2018, Meyers led the sale of Slickdeals to Goldman Sachs Private Equity Division and Hearst Corporation.Prior to joining Slickdeals, Mr. Meyers was CEO of People Media, a leading provider of affinity-based online dating, including category leading sites BlackPeopleMeet.com and Ourtime.com. In 2009, Mr. Meyers successfully led the sale of People Media to online dating juggernaut Match.com. Earlier in his career, Meyers led various initiatives at Paid Search pioneer Overture, which was eventually acquired by Yahoo!. While at Yahoo, Meyers built the domain name monetization business, culminating in 50 dedicated team members generating more than $500 million in revenue. Throughout his career, Meyers has been recognized for creating outstanding teams and Company cultures while delivering outstanding financial returns to investors and employee stakeholders. In 2019, Meyers was recognized as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 in the Consumer Technology and Services category in Greater Los Angeles. Mr. Meyers holds a B.A. in Political Science from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
