· Review and analyze construction companies throughout Alberta to determine if they qualify for surety bonding. This includes comprehensive analysis of the company’s financial statements, business plans, and other components such as economics elements.· Investigate trends among the construction industry, to identify norms within industries, gauging the financial position and risk appetite.· Analyze the financial position of construction companies, on a fiscal year end and quarterly basis. This includes, but not limited to the following analysis: annual and interim financial statements, investment strategies, work in progress, cash flow, net worth, working capital, bank and other credit facilities.· Analyze the company itself and consider the company’s comprehensive business plan. This includes company history, prior experience on projects, equipment, personnel, past, current and future workload both bonded and unbounded, continuity plan, organization and management plan.· Measure the company’s position relative to Liberty’s ability to adequately accommodate their requirements in a surety bond facility.
