These products and services are delivered through a cooperative agreement with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the CIS Services Program Office. As a prime contractor to the U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Nevada National Security Site (NNSA), served in several positions with progressive responsibility including Deputy Chief Information Security Officer, CISO, and finally the CIO. Supported the NNSS global nuclear weapons national security mission. As part of the company's senior management team, was responsible for all aspects of classified and unclassified information technology and cybersecurity department and deployed staff and technologies across multiple national laboratories in addition to the 1355 square miles of the highly secure NNSS. Provided leadership to over 140 FTEs and managed an annual budget of approximately $40M.

Founded and served as the chief executive of a regional FBI cybercrimes task force and nationally accredited digital forensics laboratory. Also served as the director of citywide IT and the crime analysis unit. Sworn law enforcement officer, responsible for criminal investigations, arrests, and prosecutions of suspects involved in criminal activity. Performed over 1,000 forensic examinations of digital evidence and testified as an expert witness in state and federal court.

Promoted as the cybercrime and digital forensic capability continued to grow. Led a multi-jurisdication high-tech crimes task force and obtained ASCLD/LAB accreditation. Wrote and received multiple federal grants. Investigated and prosecuted hundreds of cases involving technology and digital evidence and testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions.

Developed agency's first high-tech crimes unit and became a Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE). Split investigative time between major person crimes (major assaults, death investigations, child abuse, and other person-crimes) with computer and cyber crimes. Eventually became the region's only cybercrime investigator and moved into computer/cyber crime investigation full-time. Completely designed and implemented the digital forensics lab and capability.
