I'm a writer and full-stack web developer who spends a lot of time thinking about meaning, how to find it and how to create it for oneself and for others. Currently, I'm seeking to apply my skills as a web developer to responsible uses of technology that promote facility and effectiveness in our lives instead of weighing them down with distractions and needless complications.I’ve committed myself to web development because it gives me ample opportunity to exercise my talents for problem-solving and creative expression. As someone who is motivated by challenge and by unravelling intricacy, I find a lot of satisfaction in the test-driven development workflow, in which a developer must design for himself and then overcome small trials again and again for the sake of building a sturdy and robust application.My favorite coding language is Ruby because of how elegantly it mimics the feel of written English. Unsurprisingly, then, I love working with Rails, even more so because of ActiveRecord. I am also well-versed in the LAMP and MEAN stacks. And while I still have a soft spot for jQuery, having written reams of $.post and $.get requests and event handling functions, I’ve become enamored with the sheer … scope of what front-end frameworks like Angular can accomplish.The one sure thing about me is that I’m always reading.
