I have over 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in England, United Kingdom. I am not registered as an OT in Canada. I am an open minded person who values learning about the world around me. Being a reflective person is one of my strongest qualities, remaining open to considering new and different perspectives. I am versatile and always continue to develop skills in communication and empathy. I remain conscious of the different personalities in the world around me and am therefore able to be flexible in my approach when required. I am passionate about the environment and the impact our lifestyle choices have on it.I enjoy yoga, dancing and generally keeping fit. I also enjoy crafts and DIY. I have lived in and toured Kenya, parts of India and a few other countries which brought me into contact with various cultures. I am fluent in English and Gujarati, have basic conversational knowledge of Hindi, French and Kiswahili and a good level of understanding Punjabi.The gap in my employment history is due to awaiting a work permit in Canada.
