Arkansas, Mississippi, & Tennessee

I had the opportunity to serve a two year long mission trip in the states of Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee. During this time, I served many people in need and participated in countless service projects. On a daily basis, I met and talked with many people I’d never met before. As I got to know these people, I learned how to really listen and be in tune with how I could help them and bring more value to their lives. During the course of the mission, I also had the opportunity to serve as a leader for a group of between six and eleven other missionaries in the same area. The leadership role gave me the responsibility to speak in front of large groups of people, organize and arrange meetings and events, and motivate the missionaries to do their best and work hard. I learned so much from this experience and am grateful for the time I dedicated to this missionary service.
