And as the Sales Manager at Rapid Accommodation, that means making sure I understand the needs of every company we work with, big or small.Ever since I graduated from Hull University with a degree in Psychology, I’ve been passionate about understanding people. I always planned to go into clinical psychology, but when I took a job at a local call centre to pay the bills, I found something I had a natural skill for: communication.It became clear talking and, more importantly, listening to people is something I’m not only good at…it’s something I enjoy.At the same time, my aim in life is to achieve not only personal, but also financial freedom. Within my current role at Frillo I work in a small team which allows me to see every aspect of running a small business. The products we offer can range from your average stationary needs for a small office which would be repeat consistent business to the one off high value purchases so I need to be able to adapt myself accordingly to suit customer needs. My roles include;• Managing B2B Sales Accounts - Managing current customer accounts and building good working relationships with new customers. Seeing through the full sales cycle from quote to supplier PO’s, delivery and after care/up selling.• Accounts - Ensuring all reports for debtors and creditors are up to date as well as invoicing, customer statements and cash allocation.• Reporting - Daily reports are put together to ensure the business is self-sufficient and profitable whilst also tracking the business performance on a daily basis. I also collaborate monthly board reports showing sales, profit, revenue and customer activity to ensure the business is moving in the right direction.
