 Launched a new construction aluminum casement window and passed ASTM impact testing for hurricanes. Assisted in designing a complete new construction window line for the hurricane window market. These windows passed the stringent Miami-Dade certification process. Lead a continuous improvement program for the product development department that helped team members complete their tasks in a more efficient manner. Quickly became knowledgeable in the AAMA and Dade certification processes for the window industry. Managed SolidWorks installations for the product development department.

 Interned under the plant manager at a plastic injection molding plant that produced window and door hardware. Completed a cost analysis for improvement to the pack and label area, researched equipment improvements, and talked with various suppliers to get quotes and setup plant visits.

 Interned as an engineer at a cabinet door plant under the plant engineer. Observed and communicated with plant employees about their jobs and responsibilities and then composed work instructions for those jobs. Planned a move of inventory to the plant by estimating quantities in the current warehouse and laid out a new plant setup on AutoCAD to accommodate the new inventory.
