While in this position I managed the King County Household Hazardous Waste Program. I oversaw the operation of 26 rotating weekend events and one permanent location. I received a bachelor of science in environmental science with a minor in biology. I graduated cum laude with a final GPA of 3.68. The core of my course work was focused on ecology, conservation, and environmental policy. I learned lab and sampling techniques in chemistry, molecular biology, and field studies. As part of my minor I took coursework on statistical and mathematical modeling.
