Builds machines such as honing machines, boring machines, skiving machines, polishing cabinets, and related components. Safety warden and certified water systems operator at the Scot Industries R&D facility in Pewaukee, WI.

-Update and maintain the facility layout using AutoCad.-Create and modify floor layouts for new product runs using AutoCad.-Coordinate product startups on the shop floor.-Perform time studies & process improvement studies.-Participate in Kaizans, such as a Kaizan for the laser department, which resulted in designing a new holding system so a standard laser grate could be used.-Write work instructions to document the assembly and welding process for new products, utilizing tools such as digital photography, digital photo editing software (GIMP), Solid Works, and Microsoft Word. -Design 3D models of minor parts and templates for the shop floor using Solid Works.-Research process issues to determine the problem and create a solution. An example of this is finding and testing a suitable replacement for a self clinching nut that was continually failing.

-Mechanical Design and 3D Modeling experience using I-DEAS. -Mechanical design tasks at GE Healthcare including the creation and revision of 3D models, 2D production drawings, and assemblies in ePDM (GE's engineering parts data management system), and assisting with research and verification for RoHS Compliance. -Write GE's internal product assembly manuals, which include assembling prototypes and documenting the assembly process. Tools used in this assignment include digital photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator 8.

-Compared concrete block tumbling machines using time and motion studies.-Assembled samples for catalog photo shoot.-Prepared spreadsheets for production and inventory purposes.-Prepared for quarterly inventory.
