Lead efforts by establishing and implementing procurement, production, marketing, quality control, and scheduling policies and goals. Establish plans, budgets, procedures, and business practices that create and continuously develop the company culture. Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to management and staff while assigning accountability, monitoring, and appraising results. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and government agencies to assure the highest standards and compliance requirements are being met and exceeded.

Worked with clients and prospects to provide print and procurement solutions. Solutions included streamlining current print processes, fulfillment, and/or distribution methods to save money and time. Other projects shifted focus to bringing creative solutions and targeted marketing efforts to increase revenues.

Took the challenge of helping revive a struggling executive transportation company. Transformed the company's marketing and oversaw the creation and design of new sales collateral and website. Represented the company at Association events, trade shows, and networking groups. Won a contract with a large oil and gas technology company that was responsible for as much as 35% of the company's monthly revenues. I am proud to say that Merlo's has recovered and is now positioned to grow and prosper.

Azur Solutions was a sign, large format print, and graphics company that specialized in creative solutions and brand consistency. Small scale production management, procurement, employee management, and accounting principals are just a few of the lessons I learned every single day (some the hard way).
