· Mid-sized startup creating proprietary roadway condition monitoring equipment for government agencies by installing a device on their work vehicles that passively captures visual, acceleration, and radar data. Results are matched to GPS located GIS Shapefiles and displayed in an interactive online maps application where a roadway quality score is assigned to each road segment.· Software lead for integrating radar (Acconeer A121) scanning as the newest method to score roadway conditions using C/C++ (data capture and post-processing) and Python (plotting, trend fitting, statistical analysis).· Managed codebase and data files with Git/GitHub, AWS EC2 Instances (Linux), AWS S3 Buckets, and MySQL.· Laid off as a part of company-wide layoffs and cost reductions after unanticipated budget adjustments.
