BetaKit is an online business news publication that covers the Canadian tech sector. I reported and wrote stories about Canadian tech and innovation for BetaKit, and assist the team in a variety of other ways.

The Ryersonian is Ryerson University’s for-course credit student newspaper. I pitched, reported and edited stories for the online publication’s business section and co-supervised a special editorial project on the world after COVID-19. I wrote about topics that include the cost of virtual exam proctoring software, a Ryerson-SOTI autonomous drone research.

The Eyeopener is Ryerson University's independent student newspaper. I pitched and accepted reporting assignments for the paper's Business and Technology and News sections. I wrote about sustainable spending, a campus break-in, the need for more women in cybersecurity, green start-ups in Ryerson's Clean Energy Zone, and the privacy and security risks.

I redesigned and oversaw all internal and external operations of the paper, supervising a staff of 46, and 75 contributors. During my tenure, we published 10 print issues. I built a news team, website, social media accounts, started News, Science & Technology.
