- Product Manager on Castell’s Analytics Product team, managing the External Performance Reporting scrum team in the Scaled Agile Framework. The External Performance Reporting team is responsible for all reports and dashboards that are external customer facing or intended to be shown externally, with more than 150+ medical groups receiving our reporting. - Responsible for managing products throughout the product life cycle, from conceptualization to implementation.- Responsible for payment report generation, representing multi-million-dollar payments from Castell to partners. - Lead conversations with stakeholders and ensure valuable feedback is gathered so our products can be effectively iterated upon as they are being deployed to our partner medical groups.

- Oversaw Southwest and Rural Utah regional network operations for Intermountain Medical Group and affiliated provider group practices for Castell, which included medical expense management and chronic condition (HCC) verification for Medicare patients. Helped to bring $1M+ in savings to affiliate groups and saved Castell $3M+ in cost savings.- Maintained business relationships with key provider groups, managed teams providing Castell services to said provider groups, and introduced new services as needed based on overall clinic performance.- Navigated Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid clinical programs on behalf of partner clinics with a heavy focus on chronic condition management for Medicare and Affordable Care Act patients, namely HCCs using both the CMS and HHS chronic condition models.- Recruited new clinics to Castell’s network in the Southwest and Rural Utah regions and helped oversee the contracting process for new and existing groups.- Acted as liaison between the Network Operations team and the Product Analytics teams.- Team lead overseeing EMR integrations and technical conversations between our analytics vendors to ensure quality solutions are deployed to our clinics, including EMRs such as Cerner, Epic, eClinicalWorks, and others.- Participated as a stakeholder in conversations dealing with Product Analytics, helping to prompt delivery of analytics materials to all partner medical groups.

- Led a team of MHA students to help develop Intermountain’s business case for the Tele-Rheumatology program.- Case consisted of operational and financial analyses for the efficacy of such a program, including staffing models and cost/benefit analysis.- Our largest goal was to increase access to rheumatology care for patients throughout the system.

- Led process improvement initiatives which included a 100% Participation project to standardize our process and reduce efficiency waste.- Creation of Workflow Dashboards, which includes querying and reporting functionalities - Interpersonal communication between all levels of Intermountain Central Offices.

Hired on as a Clinical Support Specialist to help the Intermountain Healthcare team to transition into a new electronic medical records system. My duties primarily consist of assisting doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff to better understand the new system works and to identify issues that the staff might have with the new system. Any issues that were found were fixed through a coordination effort between the clinical staff, an Implementation Architect, and myself.

Worked in the Bioburden Department helping to determine the amount of bioburden that was present on various medical devices that were sent to us from various medical device manufacturing companies. Once the bioburden was determined, the medical devices were then able to undergo further testing, including various sterilization techniques, to ensure the medical devices were safe for human use. During my time here, I was also able to complete the 'Master Trainer' series, where, once complete, I was able to train new employees how to perform their jobs in the Bioburden Department.

Institute For Antiviral Research

The Institute for Antiviral Research at USU identifies antiviral agents and vaccines against a wide range of pathogenic viruses. I co-managed the lab and helped perform antiviral tests on a weekly basis. I propagated and prepared adherent animal cell lines for antiviral tests. I also taught my replacement his new workflow until he could readily perform his duties inside of the lab.
