As Managing Director of Professional Services at NationBuilder, I oversee three revenue lines: pre-sales and implementations, our payment processing service (NationBuilder Payments), and our data analytics platform (Insights). While pre-sales and implementations are often run in silos at other organizations, my role at NationBuilder is to ensure these teams collaborate closely and hold each other accountable. Combining my passion for progressive politics and social justice, I co-founded cStreet Campaigns, a digital creative agency designed to amplify the voices and messages of NGOs, politicians, and unions as well as facilitate meaningful dialogue with their supporters.As President and Head of Business Development and Digital Strategy, I served as an advisor and project manager on digital campaigns, branding initiatives, and engagement strategies. Working with multiple creative teams and vendors, I am proud to have had the opportunity to partner with clients around the world.During my 6 years at cStreet, I contributed to some of the most important issues impacting people, and the planet, including:• Developed the digital engagement program for Jagmeet Singh’s successful, history-making NDP leadership campaign• Created an online, immersive, multimedia experience for Rainforest Action Network that showcased the potential for a climate-stable future• Executed a grassroots peer-to-peer texting campaign for Unifor that encouraged voters to get to the polls for the Ontario 2017 electionIn addition to working with our mission-driven clients, we also aligned with similarly focused partners, achieving milestones such as:• Becoming the first Canadian agency to obtain rights to the peer-to-peer texting platform Hustle• Popularizing NationBuilder in Canada, solidifying cStreet as one of the software organization’s top partnersThis role prepared me well for my transition to NationBuilder. Not only did I develop deep expertise in the platform itself, but also a breadth of strength in balancing service delivery with generating revenue.

Transitioning out of school and into the workforce, my successful internship at ACORN Canada led to a part-time job as an Assistant to the National Head Organizer while I continued my studies, and then subsequently to another promotion as National Special Projects Coordinator.It was in this role that I discovered a growing interest in technology.
