Over the course of my degree, I studied Marketing at the University of Winchester, exploring a variety of marketing principles from working on my own digital marketing content, to analysing top companies' own content, with the hopes of learning from their successful strategies whilst simultaneously avoiding their mistakes. All areas of marketing were thoroughly investigated including creating my own content and rebranding, but also understanding and strategising marketing campaigns myself and amongst a team. Working as a LEVEL 2 Swim Instructor for 7 years has had a vast impact on not just me as member of a team, but how I am as an individual person. Communication is vital when teaching children, because when they’re in the water, you only have their full attention for about ten seconds at a time; instructions have to be as clear and precise as possible. Preparation is also vital in seeing results too. If your lessons fail to contain variety and lack a way of engaging your students, they won’t be motivated enough to do the task you want them to. Fun and exciting tasks can be an effective way of teaching, they just need to be executed in a particular way to yield positive outcomes.
