Provide support and upgrades for electrical systems within the facility. Plan and improve electrical systems and controls jobs for manufacturing processes. Gather data to design systems, design equipment, procure materials, and work with vendors and subcontractors to complete projects. Works in conjunction with the Engineering Technician to achieve controls project goals and personal development. - Safety Adherence: Lock-out-tag-out/ Fork truck/ HAZMAT/ Electrostatic discharge/ Qualified Electrical Work. - Safety, Housekeeping and Quality Management System adherence. - Supports Engineering Technician in planning and implementing controls upgrades and improvements. - Assist in the review and approval of contractor plans including work breakdown, structure, detailed scope, schedules, risk management approach, and milestones. - Diagnoses problems, detects and replaces defective control modules, components, or software. -Assists in problem resolution specific to the project and documents in appropriate software program. - Control system maintenance and upgrades and control system programming. - Installs and repairs complex electrical equipment, automated machines, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms. - Communication with company Associates and outside vendors. - Provides technical assistance to maintenance technicians and other team members. - Analyze power usage and determine how best to optimize energy and power usage.

Assisting in writing the blown film training program.Training new operators.Process optimization. Running anything from a mono extrustion line to a 5 layer coextrusion line.Running new sample products.Troubleshooting any problems in the blown film department.Running products such as sheeting, bags, and film.

●Responsible for promoting safety awareness and keeping safety as a number one priority on a daily basis.●Responsible for conducting monthly safety audits.●Continuously pursues the establishment of a high participation work team environment.●Coaches the work team and develops decision making criteria adhering to the best practices.●Assist in the selection, training and performance evaluation of co-workers Assist in the establishment, preparation. implementation, revision and maintenance of policies and procedures related to the work teams.●Responsible for documenting trial results.●Responsible for trial preparation and trial plan documentation.●Update and maintain current ISO documentation and incorporate Berry’s vision and values into daily work team operations.●Coordinates other projects as assigned by the Supervisor.●Provide Operational Leadership during extrusion trials.●Ensure all raw materials. and scrap use accurately documented and organized.●Coordinate cross training of all Operators on all equipment.●Proactively pursue professional training to strengthen applicable competencies (Berry University).●Responsible for leading and documenting training needed to develop Operators.●Facilitate work team trouble shooting and document best practices,●Participate in all pre-trial meetings.
