We are engineering (with much love) a platform agnostic software solution for animal based non-profit organizations to manage their inventory of animals, streamline adoption and foster applications, network with other non-profits in real-time to confirm available space, nurture volunteers and transport animals at risk of being euthanized giving them the chance they deserve in finding their furever homes. The data curated from the software will be used in a myriad of ways involving the juxtaposition of curated and derived data to produce additive and actionable insights, transparency and accountability. Responsible for architecting and engineering the entire e2e enterprise infrastructure including a massive data warehouse exposed via web api's adhering to very strict security guidelines and protocols, sdk's that support a wide array of programming languages (C#, Mono, Perl, Python, C/C++, RoR, PHP, VB, JavaScript), several front-end Single Page Applications (SPA) and backend portals that are all platform agnostic.

Setup and managed web servers (locally and oversees) - Windows/IIS and Linux/Apache. Managed users and source control. Managed DNS for web domains. Moved ALL applications to new servers. Managed legacy applications - Wordpress, MODx, KB Manager, Drupal. Took new designs and specs and created the new/current website and integrated into Sitefinity CMS. Managed Eloqua (marketing automation) and created custom programs for lead management and scoring and free trial, and integrated into the website. Managed the integration between Eloqua and MS Dynamics. Integrated a CDN. Managed all websites (EN, FR, DE, ES, NL).

Migrated the Onyx install base to Eloqua and assisted in communicating the change in company to the users. Participated in Eloqua training sessions and became a certified power user. Worked with Eloqua to develop and beta test new features. Support key initiatives including the developing and rolling-out a global partner portal, viral marketing, lead capture and lead management. Managed extended teams and 3rd party vendors. Developed API’s to integrate legacy apps and enterprise apps. Drove the architectural design of enterprise applications and systems. Managed intranet and headed up the project to implement a new intranet using Joomla.

Managed corporate website, four localized websites; French, German, Japanese and Korean; and several intranets. Oversee and manage Marketing Campaigns, Email Blasts, 3rd party vendors and the business processes around them. Develop new features that integrated the website and Onyx CRM such as Reporting, Lead Management and Campaigns. Acted as liaison between IT, Marketing and Sales. Administration of several servers both in-house and at data center. Managed all domain names.Dramatically increased number of incoming leads via the website as part of massive SEO efforts. Created the current Lead Management process; this involved creating a lead import tool, a lead confidence filter that automatically qualified leads based upon pre-defined business rules and associated the leads to it’s respective campaigns allowing the leads to be tracked, and reported. This allowed Sales to target their efforts towards better qualified leads, thus generating more revenue. Developed reports that gave Marketing and Overhead the ability to determine which campaigns are performing better than others, so Marketing dollars could be better invested in the areas of greater performance. Documented new, and current processes, provided technical documentation and created high-level overviews for Overhead. Developed a streaming media platform for Technical Training Videos that has greatly increased performance and the number of views. Worked with the Enterprise Systems Engineer to implement a process to deliver Enterprise Software features. This involved gathering business requirements, providing accurate estimates and developing the features. Member of the team responsible in re-locating multiple server rooms to a new building with a centralized server room. Initiated Blogging and RSS from concept to implementation.

Managed corporate websites. Developed extranet for customers to manage their services; toll-free numbers, dial-up internet, long distance and faxing. This allowed customers to change their settings for Voice Mail, Faxing, Custom Routing, Call Blocking, Manage Campaigns, Phone Book, Call Detail, Invoices, Make Payments, Add New Services/Features, etc… in real-time. Acted as liaison between R & D, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. Developed special extranets and features for Agents, Re-branders, and VIPs.Re-engineered the Voice Mail and Fax systems for the toll-free service that resulted in the relief of redundant servers, simplified complex processes and a more well-balanced user friendly interface. Developed a streaming media platform that allowed customers to listen to their Voice Mails. Re-factored legacy ColdFusion code to ASP.

Sold Sharp and Toshiba copiers/faxes to major accounts including Ventura College, Sage Publications, Mustang Marketing and national accounts such as JD Powers and Port Hueneme National Guard. Consistently maintained a 2 out of 3 ratio and a revolving pipeline of deals. Created a matrix breaking down cost-per-copy which is still being used today to evaluate and close deals.
