Joshua Fields is an executive coach certified by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. Joshua recently left a 15 year career as an executive in the telecommunications industry to follow a passion to work with people in corporate institutions that, regardless of performance level, may still feel unfulfilled by the work they are doing. Joshua works with these people to help amplify their wants and desires for their careers. Joshua led and partnered with Diversity & Inclusion teams at his prior company to drive equity work, improve hiring and retention for employees of diverse backgrounds, and create an environment of vulnerability and trust for a Fortune 10 company. Joshua has a unique skill with people that allows for authentic and transparent connection. His ability to galvanize, motivate, and inspire has helped him create environments within organizations that deliver results and exceed business unit targets, profit objectives, sales, and service, all while driving excellence in the customer’s experience.Over the years, Joshua has acquired an extensive background in Retail Sales, Customer CARE, Business in Retail Sales, Marketing, Public Speaking, Sales Training and COR Energy Coaching. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with an emphasis on the Sociology of Black Americans, and a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies. Joshua actively participates in community events that support youth athletics, and has served as a recreational youth league basketball coach. He participated in “1K Black Men”, an event focused on empowering Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) students hosted by a Seattle-based organization focused on education, and supporting underserved communities. Joshua is an avid fitness and health enthusiast. He uses his fitness transformation story (losing 85 pounds) to inspire others and as a metaphor for life. You might also find Joshua in his spare time getting a new tattoo, watching sports, or even DJ’ing a wedding for a client. Joshua spins records through his small business, Music by JFields, and loves facilitating music production for weddings and corporate events.
