Joshua created Digital Ocean’s Professional Services practice and managed a team of AI/ML engineers to deliver a wide variety of ML applications to clients. Developed end-to-end solutions including model training, creating inference backends, deploying applications with monitoring, scaling, and endpoint security, and building out CI/CD pipelines. Solutions included RAG systems, question answering LLMs, on-edge live object detection services, and image generation models.

Joshua led the external ML effort to build AI assets for consumers to speed up acceleration in our platform and worked with the customer success team to increase revenue at an annual rate of 2x for a successful exit in 2023. Joshua helped lead the product and engineering teams in developing Paperspaces’s inferencing service including 3rd party integrations, auto-scaling, security, container registries, and health checks.

Joshua assisted cohorts of professional students in their Data Analytics and Data Science journeys through leading sessions, facilitating discussions, and setting up 1-on-1 time with student to help with course work. Joshua has assisted with multiple courses including Data Visualization, Data Analysis, and Python Programming.

Joshua Robison led teams in building out end-to-end ML solutions across a wide range of industries. He deployed machine learning solutions (computer vision, demand forecasting, and anomaly detection models) on multiple clouds designing the architecture for solutions including Container Registries, App Services, Virtual Networks, Key Vaults, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Virtual Machines, Firewalls, NoSQL Databases, and Storage Accounts.

Joshua Robison worked with and led teams in designing and creating predictive models and pipelines for clients. Joshua worked on projects including creating attrition models for retail workforces, optimizing prices for a retail chain based on geographical location, competitor prices and other factors, and detecting and deploying object detection models on edge devices. The commonly used Python packages in the above projects include numpy, pandas, sklearn, tensorflow, keras, nltk, pytorch.

Led a group of 25 students through a 8-month AI/ML course, teaching topics ranging from data ingestion and feature engineering in python to machine learning algorithms including clustering algorithms, dense and convolutional neural networks.
