Since May 2011, I have been fortunate to be an Intern with LACO Associates in Eureka, California as a Design Intern. When I was located within the office, I worked underneath two lead Architects whose names are Eric Lindstrom and Julian Berg. During my employment, I have assisted in project coordination, produced three dimensional modeling using Google Skecthup, drafted preliminary designs, and produced digital media renderings using SU Podium. For my last project I worked remotely for the company completing designs and construction documents for the company’s new exterior signage, composing a virtual video walk-through of newly constructed town homes, and a basic three dimensional model of a proposed site plan to be used for basic construction lines of a watercolor rendering. Mike Nelson is the Vice President at LACO Associates and is my supervisor overseeing all of the work I publish.

This position is responsible for supporting the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers. It will assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services. This involves ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining accurate work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications. This position will also stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks. It may also assist in making deliveries if necessary.

I was Responsible for cleaning and preparing new cars for the lots inventory and meticulous detailing upon delivery to the new owner. I managed the lots inventory by filling gas as needed, cataloged inventory from a storage lot, maintaining lot organization and presentation, drove cars as needed. I also was integral in detailing used cars that were either purchased or traded in to be added to our inventory.
