Employed at Douglas Machines Inc. as an Electrical Design Engineer. Resent graduate at Minnesota State University, Mankato with a double major in Computer Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology. I have experience in Solidworks 2019, Eagle 8.3.2, MATLAB, OrCAD 17.2, Keil uVision, RSlogix 500, Atmel Studio 7.0, LabView, Modelsim, CubMX, Inkscape, C language, Asembly language, VHDL language, python language, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. I adapt well and a quick learner. I used Solidworks 2019 at Douglas Machines Inc. to design and build automation packaging machines that are distributed all around the world. I started my training on the assembly floor to learn and build the automated machines. This provided me the opportunity to see the assembly flow and where the common issues are in schematics/prints which made me a better designer. In turn I was able to make connections with the head finishers and assembly workers to advance communication when solving issues. I then proceeded to move into Solidworks 2019 and design schematics/prints with the electrical design engineering team which implemented problem solving skills to resolve issues in a timely fashion as required.I acquired skills in OrCAD, Eagle, MATLAB, and design by constructing a double sided PCB board through these software's only through using the schematic. We then purchased the board and soldered on components for testing. The main objective was to apply an input frequency from a frequency generator and measure the output waveform with an oscilloscope.I gained skills in CubeMX, Keil uVision, and Assembly language by programming a microprocessor to display light patterns based off the specific switch being flip. I also programmed a song that exhibited and audio output through the microprocessor.I became well educated in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Inkscape through my internship at Quantum Controls.
