I worked with multiple teams at SLU during my internship. I worked with the server team setting up their first Apache Hadoop Cluster. I worked with the Desktop Administrators to develop an inventory system they could use for taking physical inventory of computers during their Windows 7 Migration project. I worked with the database team during the development of the Inventory System I designed. I worked with the networking team for a weekend of switch installs in one of the buildings on campus. I developed a taste for everything while at SLU and it has helped me learn more about what each individual section of IT does on a daily basis.
