This position has allowed me to learn marketing from a different perspective. My previous experience is primarily with new businesses that market directly to the consumer. This role at Congress Australia required me to market for an established brand with a large chunk of market share in a business-to-business environment. The first steps I took were to fix a significant number of technical issues on the website and allow for real-time analytics with Google Analytics and Google Ads. This allowed me to have strong data to make decisions.

This role involved me working from the ground up to develop marketing strategies and the brand identity of Flowperty. This involved weeks of long nights doing market research on not just the consumer but the industry as a whole.
