Joshua Esplago Devera., P.E. is a graduate from the University of California Irvine in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering. Throughout his career, he has been involved in geotechnical studies, planning, design, and construction of numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Southern California. The depth of his design experience has involved all facets of a project from preliminary reconnaissance to detailed design of the stormwater, water, sewerage systems, as well as the permitting, public presentation and construction observation of the project. His experience also extends to both the private and public sector.Mr. Devera serves as an "Exam Expert Consultant" for the State of California Board of Engineers to review the California Specific Sections of the Professional Engineer exam.Mr. Devera has been involved in the day-to-day project management of many of the projects he was involved with, many times requiring the assistance of other outside consultants and professionals throughout the process.As an aspiring entrepreneur, Mr. Devera has begun law school to complement his engineering degree. He plans on utilizing this combination of law and engineering to practice Patent Law and to have an understanding of the legal implications to business decisions.Additionally, Mr. Devera has obtained a commission as a United States Naval Reserve Office in the Seabees battalion. He brings a diverse civil and geotechnical engineering background to the military for the utilization of various missions.Engineering, Law, and the Military are not the limits of Mr. Devera's interests. He also has opened "The Coconut Hut" a personal chef business in Orange County in 2006.- B.S.
